Donations cover about 30% of our expenses – and we can’t manage without them!

Sompasauna is an open, free, and community-driven urban oasis that survives only through collective effort. Membership fees alone are not enough to keep the saunas hot all year round.

In addition to chopping firewood, carrying water, and other volunteer work, you can now support Sompasauna with a monetary donation. Every contribution, big or small, helps keep the saunas in good condition and the doors open for everyone.

All three saunas are heated almost continuously, which demands constant maintenance: stove units last only a few months, and chimneys and sauna stones need to be replaced even more frequently. And that requires funding.

Funds raised are used primarily for sauna upkeep and basic repairs. Secondarily, they cover other essential expenses to ensure good steam continues year after year.
